Namaste everyone, and welcome to the Bajra weekly blog. This week might be one of the dull weeks as not a lot happened. But, you know what they say

There will never be a dull moment when you are with the Bajra Family

Promotion

Congratulations to our new Prime Ministers 😂

First of all, let us congratulate our beloved Aayush dai and Ashok Dai for getting promoted to Project Managers. Both of them are much deserving of their new title and are more than capable of handling their responsibilities. We can rest assured that all our Projects are in good hands 😃. I’m happy to be guided by veterans in their fields.

Wannabe PM 😏 #GULMANN
Katnu chai Dubai jana le parcha hai 😃

Now that the exciting bit’s out of the way, let look at all the events and mishaps that occurred in the Bajra Office this week.

A Happy customer

Starting things off with myself, because it seems I actively seek out things to do apart from working. Sometimes I wonder why I haven’t gotten fired yet 😂. In my journey to seek adventure, I came across someone who had broken their Lantern that they won during last week’s Friday Fun activity. Since I wasn’t a part of the Friday Fun activity, I was intrigued by its working mechanism. So, being the curious as well as the helpful bloke that I am, I decided to tear it apart and fix it.

Happy customer 😍. Prepsa

How could I say no to a request by our beloved Bhanji 👧. Although, I don’t understand why someone would request something this odd 🤔. Oh well 😂

Programming

You might be wondering about the “Programming” part of the Blog title. Well, I too was perplexed last week when something so simple created a worldwide commotion. Allow me to explain.

On Wednesday our favorite Rameshwor, a.k.a. Ramu, came up to me and said,

भाई, Rails को console खोल त

I obliged, after which he made me write this simple equation, “0.1 + 0.2”. I thought to myself, “Hmmm, it’s simple mathematics. The answer must be 0.3”. But lo and behold, the answer was not as I anticipated 😂.

Not only on rails, but it also appears to be the same throughout all the programming languages. I admit I did not test this in all other languages, but I’ll take Ramu’s word for it 😂. It seems we should all be more aware of Floating-point arithmetic. You can read more about it more from here.

Personally, I feel excited when I get to learn new things 😄.

Python and JavaScript are also not safe 💁

BAN RAMU

Speaking of Ramu, we know how well Ramu plays the game of Carrom. Too well, in fact, resulting in some people banning him from carrom altogether. Carrom has been a critical part of the Bajra culture, so much so that people stay late playing carrom instead of going home 😜.

Shout-out to Sandesh dai ko Pose 😹. And throwback to Sujan’s Carrom App 😢

It was really funny to witness, and to those who were part of this banning, I would like to ask you to continue it 😂. BAN RAMU FROM CARROM.

तिमी हामीलाई चाइने मान्छे हैन 😂

Poop

Finally, the long-awaited poop 😂.

खि नेउ ला ?

No no, this is not me trying to take the mick at someone, I’m just writing what everyone was saying on that fateful Wednesday. Our beloved BajraBeing, Nishesh Dai, happened to have recently gone to Bali for some work. When he returned though, he brought back some koseli for us to enjoy. One of these was the delicious “Sweet-potato chips” which was my favorite. And the other one was the Luwak Coffee, better known to us BajraBeings as Poop Coffee 😂. Organic Luwak Coffee is hard to come around these parts, but even if you get your hands on one, it’s far up on the expense scale. The chips were a delicacy and I appreciate these gifts that Nishesh dai brought us, seeing how much we love our food and coffee. Thank you very much dai, from me and from everyone 😃.

It tastes good by the way. Don’t judge a coffee by its poop 😝.

Inline to taste the 💩

Kopi luwak is a coffee that consists of partially digested coffee cherries, which have been eaten and defecated by the Asian palm civet (Paradoxurus hermaphroditus). The cherries are fermented as they pass through a civet’s intestines, and after being defecated with other fecal matter, they are collected.

Nishesh dai doing some Hardware Mumbo Jumbo 😲😵

A few honorable mentions before taking my leave.

Futsal has been moved to Tuesdays. Don’t forget to bring your shoes every Tuesday :D

The GitHub server was down for a while last week. It was not that big of a concern, but it raised a small commotion in the viber chat group.

Pinky bought a new jacket and was flaunting.

If only it were pink in color

There was a baithak going on, everyone was surrounding Ramu. Looks like the rise of a new Neta is inevitable.

Some unfamiliar faces swarm the rising celebrity

Throwback to the Pokhara days :D

The End maybe????

Goodbye office, you are beloved to us, like a ship to a Pirate. See you tomorrow ❤️.

Nah fam, it’s only the beginning. There are many more days to come and I guarantee you that we’ll have even more exciting things to tell you through our blogs. To all the current Bajra-beings as well as the previous ones and to even the ones that are not part of the Bajra family but still enjoy our blogs, hope you have a great day. Tune in next week, same time, same place for hopefully even better content 😅.

Best of luck to our next week’s Blogger, Mr. Ashwin Pradhan, who was surprisingly not born in Ashwin 😂.

जेष्ठ प्रधान हुन पर्ने नाम 😂. Jestha ma janmeko keto m0h!!!
