The part where the food arrives

Everyone loves lunch break, don’t they? Whenever the food arrives at our office, people rush to the recreation room to get it. But some don’t care about food, they care only about PUBG. The wannabe soldiers battle against the rest of the squads around the world to be number one and climb to the top. Soon after the break ends, their game also ends and some of them yell “आज खाजामा के थियो?

People at Bajra don’t usually complain about the lunch that arrives at 12:30 PM but there seems to be a growing dissatisfaction for the meal that arrives at 3:30 PM. It’s not that everyone hates the food, some of them love it.

Here we can see Sonika loving khuminjo when everyone was like “This is the worst Khumincho that I have ever had”.

The part where Sandesh dai praised me

At Bajra, I am known as the guy with the lame jokes. Every joke I make is always linked with the 1122 joke because of Sandesh dai’s for 1122 incident. 1122 is a sacred and secret number for BajraBeings. Even if you don’t know about 1122, no need to worry, you are not the only one. No One Knows.

This week Sandesh dai praised me for the first time. When Swagat inquired Ankur dai about buying a bike, I said “दाईले काँ बाईक किन्छ त, धनी मान्छे ले त गाडी पो किन्छ नि”. Suddenly Sandesh dai said, “यो अश्विनले फर्स्ट टाईम ठीक कुरा गर्‍यो”. It doesn’t seem like much, but to me, it was the first time I was praised by our very own Sandy dai 😂.

The part where Bhaskar dai left every group in Viber

Something went wrong with Bhaskar dai’s Viber app. So he decided to deactivate Viber, uninstall it and reinstall it again. But little did he know that it will cause everyone to make a scene out of something so trivial.

When the BajraBeings saw the notification of Bhaskar dai leaving the group, it started a commotion. Some went on to joke about it, including Swagat, who sent a “R.I.P” message to the BajraBeings group. Later on, Sandesh dai added Bhaskar dai back to the group and said: “Admin has the power to bring back a dead man!”. Bhaskar dai immediately figured out what happened while he was gone. Sandesh dai, if that isn’t a 1122 joke then what is?

The part with a messy cubicle

Albert Einstein once said, “If a cluttered desk is a sign of the cluttered mind, of what then, is an empty desk a sign?”. Seems like we can’t have an empty desk at the office, can we?

Here we can see a brief glimpse of Swagat cluttered/sophisticated mind

The part where the large Bajra logo came to our office

Our office ordered a large wooden Bajra logo for the reception desk. Man, it looks awesome! Some were so excited that they decided to pose in front of the Bajra logo before it was installed.

The part where people went to a driving school

Swagat, Selisha, Alka Don and Bhanji decided to go to a driving school and learn how to ride two-wheelers. Out of these people, only Swagat ended up learning how to ride a bike and a scooter. I guess every bike in this world is tuned differently because when Swagat decided to ride my bike, he wasn’t able to take it for a spin like he did at driving school. Regardless, he posted a photo of him riding my bike in every social media account 😂.

The part where Daari had an accident

On Thursday morning, Roman(Daari) had a bike accident. Luckily he didn’t have any major injuries. Coincidentally, Sonika was near the area where the accident happened but she didn’t realize that it was Daari as she was late for office and hastily left the scene. When Sonika found out that it was Daari who had the accident and Daari realized that she was there when it happened he joked how she didn’t save his life.

The part where after office tea became a must

चार कप चिया र चार थरी गफ”. Every day when the office ends Rameshwor (Ramu), Subash (Gulman), Abi dai and Degendra dai heads out for the local tea shops near our office. They then talk about different incidents happening around the world, who should win Comedy Champions, etc. It might be short-lived, but they talk about interesting stuff and head home.

The part where Friday Team lunch was a chaos

Last Friday of every month, our office treats us to a team lunch at a nearby restaurant. Last week’s Friday was that very day, so all of us headed towards Babeans Kaffee, Sankhamul, at lunch-time. Usually, the food in the team lunch is good and the environment is rather peaceful, but last Friday everything was in chaos. The Food we ordered arrived really late and when it did we were disappointed by its quality and taste. Whenever a food item arrived, everyone shouted “यो हाम्रो हो! यो हाम्रो हो!”. The food on the plate would magically disappear before even reaching the table 😏.

मासु त साबैको लुछियो, भेजहरुलाई चैँ आनन्ध थियो 😂

When the food didn’t arrive, some folks decided to do an experiment

Capillary action in action

The part where the newly appointed PMs gave us a treat

“The harder you work for something, the greater you’ll feel when you achieve it.”

Did you read about the newly elected PMs in our last blog? This week the newly appointed PMs decided to treat us at Yangtaru Sekuwa corner. Everything that we ordered was tasty, a welcome surprise after the failed team lunch, from the pork barbecue to the gizzard fry. But the food was only a small portion of the fun that we had. We didn’t realize time fly by because of all the conversations. Everyone was guessing/implying the names for the babies of the married couples in Bajra. There was even a bet regarding who will marry first and what their baby’s name will be.

The most exciting conversation of the evening, however, was the love story of our beloved Sandesh dai. I completely made up his love story and thinking that it was true everyone burst into laughter. Wondering what the story was? I’ll talk about it in my next blog 🤪.

The part where we spent the weekend

During the weekend and the BajraBeings most probably had a good time, relaxing after the long weekend that they had. Some of them probably went outside with friends and family, some played PUBG and some stayed at home watching movies or doing nothing at all.

The best part of the weekend for me personally was seeing Liverpool lose their first match in the Premier League this season. Amongst the people who didn’t want to see Liverpool unbeaten this season were the Arsenal fans like Susom and Rabindra dai. They were exhilarated that Liverpool didn’t take away “The Invincibles” glory from them. On the other spectrum however, Liverpool fans like Abhinav dai, Abi Dai and Raju had hearts broken.

The part where next week also has a blog

Best of luck to our next week’s Blogger, Susom, who is also going for trekking to Mardi. I can’t wait for the awesome blog he will be writing.
