Welcome to Bajra Weekly where you can relive all the moments that took place this week. Before jumping into all the actions, let’s congratulate our very own Prabhat Dai for his VISA Grant and wish him a very bright future ahead.

The week couldn’t start off better when we heard that Prabhat Dai’s VISA was granted ( ahem!!! PARTY खान पाउने भयो ahem!!!) 😆 along with those delicious laddoos. Here’s a fake photo of those laddoos as I totally forgot to capture those moments. Sorry about that 😅.

Not a Genuine Photo!!! LOL 😅

The Seminar

Aside from that, we were invited by our upstairs neighbors, Gurans Life Insurance, for a “short” seminar on why Life Insurance is essential. Thank you Gurans Life Insurance for the informative seminar. Here are the few glimpses of the seminar.

We also had a short informative session about SSF (Social Security Fund) from Bhaskar Dai.

Music To Ears And THE PARTY!

After the seminar, we were greeted by this wonderful message. You can see how fast the replies were flying. Even though the message said Crunchies at 4 pm, we decided that to have the party at the office. Everything was planned and the foods to be brought were obviously Momos, Chowmeins and Pizzas.
But then a voice interrupted “Pizza??? Pizza भन्दा त बरु सेकुवा मगाम न। ओ डंगोल, त्या को सेकुवा लेरा न त”. As soon as the voice landed, Abhishek Dai headed out to order (I am exaggerating this part a bit 😃). He almost got lost in the way but eventually managed to find the shop, order and return. The shop said that it would be prepared by 5 so I and Swagat went around 5 p.m but had to wait almost an hour. Finally, an hour after we returned with the SEKUWAS and everyone was very happy.

Before anybody says anything, we did give Ligal Dai a proper goodbye. We, the BajraBeings, surprised him with gifts and cake, thanks to previous Puspanjali dd, Ashwin and Swagat for managing the gifts.

Farewell Cake

“Joys and Sorrows go Hand in Hand in Life”

As we bid farewell to one , we welcomed two new faces to our Bajra family. Hope we have great time together and welcome to the family 😄.

Yudish Basnet and Swagat Niroula 😆

Some funny bits to look back to

  1. Abishek Dai’s love for PUBG

Abishek Dai on Monday “मैले PUBG uninstall गरे”

Abishek Dai on Wednesday “केटा हो ल आयो खेल्न”

2. Subash Basnet’s master plan

If you have been keeping up with the previous post, you may know about the bets and one of the betters Subash Basnet is certainly hiding something up his sleeves to win one. Some of you may already know this but to the ones who don’t, sorry I won’t be revealing the plan 😝.

3. Ayush dai’s excitement

Ayush dai was excited to see his vegetarian group increase as me, Prepsa and Ashok dai joined at least for this week. 😜😜😜

Friday Fun Activity

Fun activities help people see each other in a different light allowing them to connect in a different setting. So Bajra organizes Friday fun activity once every 2 weeks. This week the organizers were Subash and Sonika dd and the name of the game is Golden.. wait for it…… Countdown. LOL!!! I just made that up, I don’t know the name but it was a mixture of Golden Balls and Countdown.

Rule: A team consists of 6 players. Each team chooses a random letter from a group of vowels or consonants. After randomly selecting a certain number of letters, each team is tasked with creating a word with only those available letters under a certain amount of time. Points are then calculated according to the length of the word (a word which must be present in the OXFORD Dictionary). Argh… this is just too time-consuming. Just watch these videos for reference.

Rules aside the game were entertaining but alas our team lost. Take a look at some of the moments that were captured.

Thanks to the organizers for organizing such a fun game. I think that is it for this week. Oh and I almost forgot, Anita Kijju ले एक्लै माछा मारेर खायो 😝. Swagat you got your request.

Before I finish, I would like to wish everyone Happy Holi and don’t miss the next blog from Rikesh Chhunju if you want to keep up with our mishaps.
